Columbia’s Leading Antisemite

More than 20 student groups at Columbia University signed a joint letter saying, “If every political avenue available to Palestinians is blocked, we should not be surprised when resistance and violence break out.” According to these groups, an attack by a terrorist group that left 1,200 dead and at least 2,700 wounded in Israel was inevitable.

Elliott Mur is a leader of an organization that signed this hateful, antisemitic letter.

The letter also suggested violence against Israel was necessary:

“… there can be no future of safety and freedom for all Israelis and Palestinians without holding the Israeli occupation accountable for its actions.”

The letter initially contained the names of the groups who signed the letter, but after widespread backlash, it was amended to say, “The list of signatories has been temporarily removed because of Columbia[‘s] abject failure and inability to protect its students from doxxing and harassment.”

That’s right. They want to stand behind hateful rhetoric as long as nobody knows who said it so none of these students will be held accountable.

As of October 12, student signatories including Elliot Mur have not been disciplined by the university.
